Embudo Box Trail

Joins us for a rugged hike in the Embudo box canyon.

This two mile in and out, hike from an unassuming trailhead on State Road 69 leads to a scenic canyon carved by Embudo Creek. The trail drops 163 ft in a short distance, which explains is why it is considered moderately difficult. The drive distance is about 67 miles.
Wear good hiking boots. Bring Rain Coat, poles, hat, sunscreen, plenty of water and snacks or lunch. Dogs on leash are welcome.
