Petroglyph Rock Loop Via Crystal Bypass

Join us for an adventure on this moderately difficult loop trail near Abiquiu N.M.
Length: 3.5 miles ... Elevation gain: 433 ft ... Route type: Loop ... Pace: Relaxed ... Dogs: Yes
The trail goes north up Red Wash for about 0.6 miles, then climbs west over Crystal pass the down a steep incline to where the hieroglyph can be found. The return trail goes back down to Crystal pass, then heads north-west to loop back around to Red wash. This hike will require quite a lot of scrambling over steep, rocky terrain. The Santa Fe people will meet up at the Tesuquiu casino at 9:00 AM. The Los lamos People will meet us at Bodies in Abiuquiu at around 10:00 AM. If you want to meet at Bodies, please leave a message below.
Wear good hiking boots. Bring poles, hat, sunscreen, plenty of water and lunch or snacks. Dogs on leash are welcome.
