Join us for a moderately changeling 3.7 mile, in & out hike, near Taos.

The hike starts at the Taos ski Valley, goes south, on a good trial, through a lush forest, for about 1.5 miles, ends up at this high alpine lake. The altitude at the trail head is 10,200 ft and the altitude at Lake Williams is 11,030 ft. The hike should take about three hours at a relaxed pace, the drive time is about one hour and 48 minutes each way.
Wear good hiking boots. Bring poles, raincoat, hat, sunscreen, plenty of water and lunch or snacks. Friendly dogs on leash are welcome.
