Dear Trap Mesa is named for a game pit close to the start of the trail. Walking is easy except for a short scramble near the trail head. The trail forms a loop which goes along the rim of the mesa to three points overlooking the valley below. If you want to meet us at the trail head, please leave a note below.
Wear good hiking boots. Bring poles, hat, sunscreen, plenty of water and snacks. Dogs on leash are welcome .
