This is a short hike to a beautiful place I discovered on my own. We will drive to Los Alamos and up the winding canyon road, at the top of the canyon we will park to our left and walk on flat area overlooking the valley. The old road to Los Alamos ran through here. Then we will drop, down a little turn a corner and explore some ancient ruins. Mostly ancient homes hewn into rock. see photo section. Up to 3miles depending on how far we explore. Very little Elevation change, ~100 feet.

I have been here many times. Come burn off some calories before your big Thanksgiving feast and enjoy the great outdoors with me. As always as winter approaches carry spikes/yak tracks, always water, snacks, wear good hiking shoes/boots, rain gear, hat, sunscreen and pole(s). Please answer yes to question to go. Dogs on leash welcome.
please give your driver $3.
