Badlands and Archaeological Sites - Farmington Area

Join Ted Harsha and I for a 4-day adventure to some of the most scenic badlands and amazing petroglyph panels in the state. We may be able to locate some ruins too. Ted Harsha and I will do some preliminary scouting to see what we can find for the group.

Attendees can stay in Farmington or camp out. Hikes will be 7 miles or less with no more than 600 feet of elevation gain. Hiking poles are recommended. We will be hiking in the Bisti and Ah-shi-sle-pah wilderness’s, and an area south of Navajo Lake east of Farmington.

Members who have 4wd high clearance vehicles will be given priority along with those that I have hiked with previously.
