Hike along the old soda springs trail to an unexcavated archeological site near the Rio Grande. beautiful views. easy and relaxed but uneven ground. Wear proper footwear, bring plenty of water, hat, sunscreen, poles if you need them. Dress in layers... if rain or snow, we will reschedule. Friendly dogs welcome, bring a leash.

Sub group may decide to hike to Soda Springs overlook so we will carpool accordingly. That is a beautiful site but about 600ft climb.
Hike starts at the Buckman treatment plant.
2.65 miles
197 feet elevation gain

it's a long rough ride so give your driver $5
