Come work on a modern Android project, yours or some other project that appeals to you. Or just bring a modern Android issue/question related to Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Serialization, or any of a myriad number of issues Kotlin/Android developers deal with every day. Learn, teach, grow and have fun.
This is a meetup for software developers who read the previous paragraph with no WTFs. If any of Jetpack, Compose, Kotlin, Gradle, Serialization, Coroutines mean nothing to you, then this meetup will bore you to tears.
We use IntelliJ IDEA Code With Me to collaborate on code. strcpy to share device screens and Android Studio for heavy lifting. We embrace Clean Code but recognize that coding, like life, is messy.
Kotlin is our language. If you have never written a line of Kotlin code, best for you to learn the basics on your own using on-line material: tutorials, code labs, articles, introductory YouTube videos and/or books.
Then write the simplest Android app using Android Studio. At that point you are ready to join the meetup events. Look forward to seeing you then.
