Storytelling for Enterprise Architects: Frameworks to Influence and Align
As EAs, we’re constantly translating complex ideas, aligning technology with strategy, and guiding people through change. A well-told story isn’t just a “nice to have”—it’s the key to getting people to understand, care, and act.
In this session, we’ll explore how storytelling can help bridge communication gaps, reduce resistance to change, and build support for your architectural vision. We’ll kick off with some practical storytelling tips from Emily Edgeley, including simple, effective techniques you can start using straight away. Then, our FromHereOn Principal Consultants, Pieter Steyn and Justin Callaghan, will share real-world examples of how storytelling has helped turn architecture into action in complex organisations.
There’ll be time for Q&A at the end, and we’ll wrap things up with a few ready-to-use storytelling tactics you can bring back to your next engagement.
