As a first group event, I was thinking of inviting y'all to my place for drinks (with or without alcohol or caffeine, I'll have some or bring your own) and a bit of musical show-and-tell. I live at 9555 W 82nd Pl, Arvada 80005, yellow house on corner near Wood Run III neighborhood's pool, close-ish to Kipling and 80th.

Each of us can play part of and discuss one or two pieces we particularly love and would like to share with others, that simple. I can host up to 6 people in our modest living room. On our large-ish TV with a nice soundbar and can play CDs, DVDs, MP3s, or online content, so you can bring the media type of your choice.
To give you an idea of what I'll probably discuss, Philip Glass' Einstein on the Beach has been on my mind recently. If you have 4.5 hours to spare :-) a video of the entire "opera" is on YouTube -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK0tzdCRjzc
Start times of a few parts I particularly like (names are from memory, not entirely correct):
1. Court scene, "Mr. Bojangles...": 1:10:10
2. Dance: 1:45:08
3. Knee Play (choir): 2:24:01
4. Bed: 3:44:16
