The Modern Social Collective is a social group for curious, open-minded, fun-seeking women who genuinely enjoy life - good food, great conversation, culture, creativity and exploring all that Vancouver & Portland have to offer.
We do the things you always want to do but rarely do alone:
trying new restaurants and cocktail bars, theater, ballet, opera, museums, art installations, good films, lectures, hands-on classes, riverfront strolls, day trips, antique shopping, cooking, gardening, crafting, and creative projects. Some gatherings are daytime, some are evenings out — all are about shared experiences and enjoying the moment.
About me!
Hi, I’m Anna - 51, no kiddos, one beloved floof baby (Lola) and I moved from Arizona to Vancouver two(ish) years ago. Despite living here, I realized I haven’t truly explored and I finally decided to stop waiting for “someday” or “someone else”.
So I’m creating the group I wish already existed!
Think of me as your cruise director (Julie from Love Boat, anyone?) I’ll plan the outings and invite you along. You just show up if it sounds fun. Together, we’ll explore the city, laugh a lot, try new things and take full advantage of this beautiful place we live.
