Building A Production AI Platform: 3 Lessons Learned

Details
Rick Oppedisano and John McAliley are the product and development minds behind Delta Bravo (https://deltabravo.ai/), the world’s first artificial intelligence platform for database management. Delta Bravo uses predictive analytics and machine learning to forecast database performance and security problems up to 30 days before they happen. Once a problem is predicted, Delta Bravo’s AI recommends a fix specific to that database’s use case, providing SQL statements and step-by-step instructions, saving hundreds of hours for developers and DBAs. Delta Bravo is in early release and being used by large enterprise customers like AccuWeather and Comporium.
Rick and John are going to share their experience building a production AI platform from the ground up. They’ll briefly discuss the design principles of Delta Bravo and how AI differs from automation or rules engines. Then they’ll dive right into some of the lessons they learned on the road to general availability - including their rationale for technology choices and hidden landmines unique to AI.
The meeting presenters are Rick Oppedisano and John McAliley,.
