US Army Field Band and Soldier's Chorus
Details
This year, as the United States of America celebrates 250 years since its founding, the Gallo Center for the Arts is honored to present the oldest and largest of the United States Army’s esteemed performing groups. The 60-member Field Band and 29-member Soldier’s Chorus were founded in 1946 and 1957, respectively, and have performed in all 50 states and 30 foreign countries for audiences totaling hundreds of millions.
The Field Band is the official touring musical representative of the U.S. Army. Their mission is to connect with Americans, share Army stories and honor veterans. These active-duty soldiers perform regularly in some of the most famous concert halls in the world with an unparalleled versatility of programming, ranging from orchestral masterworks and operatic arias to Sousa marches, jazz classics and Broadway musicals.
I won't be able to get my tickets until January 23, but you may be able to get your own earlier than that if you are a veteran or a Gallo center member. If you do get tickets, comment below with your seat numbers.
