Celebrating Prince's Birthday with the Modesto State Theatre! Prince was born on June 7, 1958. In honor of his birthday, WDC is performing a VERY special Birthday Celebration show.

On June 7, 2026, the 209 will get to experience an exciting and dynamic live concert experience, “When Doves Cry – The Prince Tribute Show” is a multi-talented 8-piece Tribute Show to the music of Prince!

Joining up with one of the longest running Prince Impersonators, Gabriel Sanchez, who has been portraying Prince since 2002 for a run of very special Theatre shows together to honor the 10th year of Prince’s passing.

• Performing Prince’s Iconic “Purple Rain” album in its entirety at every show in 2026 as well as Prince’s greatest hits and deep cuts!

• Performing the songs as Prince wrote them.

• Having performed over 210 shows with 107 Sold Out Shows, the band is performing over 45 dates throughout North America in 2026 for their 10th Anniversary!
