What we’re about
The Mohawk Canoe Club welcomes new and experienced paddlers to join us on flat water and river trips in New Jersey and the surrounding states. While only club members may join the meetup group, guests are welcome to participate in up to two trips before joining the club; contact membership@mohawkcanoeclub.org to get contact information for the trip leader on a trip you'd like to join as a guest.
We require you to supply your own boat and that you wear a PFD for all trips. Detailed club rules, applicable to trips, are here:

Not all club trips are listed on Meetup. Please visit our website for more information about the club.

Notice the 10:30 am start time!
Join us on this trip down the Delaware River, from Riegelsville to Tinicum Park to celebrate my Special Day. Meet at the Riegelsville Boat Access ramp (address: 15 Old River Rd, Milford, NJ 08848), organize the shuttle to Tinicum Park Boat Launch on the Pennsylvania side (address: 963 River Rd, Upper Black Eddy, PA 18972) and then we will return and put in at Riegelsville Boat Access ramp (address: 15 Old River Rd, Milford, NJ 08848). We will be parking our cars at the Tinicum Park parking lot across the street.
This is a wide river with some obstacles, depending on the level of water.
This is a trip that is great for beginners. We pass under several bridges and paddle past the Pennsylvania Palisades. It is an interesting river.
We will be stopping along the way for lunch and swimming per the groups’ preferences. It is sunny and wide, and the river moves about three miles per hour. The weather is anticipated to be clear by early in the day.REQUIREMENTS:
