Minhwa | Korean Traditional Painting

Details
Hello,
We're excited to introduce a new event - Minhwa.
In this exclusive class, limited to just 10 participants, you will learn about Minhwa, the traditional Korean folk painting, and create your own unique artwork. Minhwa is a form of Korean folk art primarily created by unknown artists without formal training. In this class, you will learn traditional techniques, drawing on Hanji (Soonji), a type of Korean traditional paper, using natural white, Hobun(carbonated lime), and Bunchaepigments. This experience will allow you to experiment with new materials and explore a fascinating genre of painting.
We highly recommend this class if you want to learn authentic Korean traditional painting techniques and work with unique materials from South Korea.
All painting tools and materials, including brushes, pigments, and paper, will be provided. However, you are welcome to bring your own tools if you prefer.
