We're photographers of all levels and abilities. But we're photographers that know that we don't simply take photos. We believe we use our cameras to preserve a moment…something in our heads or our hearts that says, "hey, this is something worth holding on to."

To be a judgment free forum where all photographers can learn and contribute to the learning of others. We envision being a group enabling people to grow their love of photography and empowering them by bolstering their confidence and capabilities behind the camera.
Our Mission
To help photographers of all skill levels and abilities skillfully create portrait moments by using the correct camera settings for the intended image, utilizing the right light and modifiers, purposefully posing, and scouting awesome locations to serve as the backdrop. Through discussion, hands-on learning, styled shoots, and guidance from industry professionals, we will help people feel more confidently creative and keep photography fun, not frustrating.

It doesn’t matter if you just purchased your first DSLR or if you're a long time shooter trying to develop some new photographic skills. If you love photography and are excited about learning, you'll find value in every meetup we host. Most of all, just be ready to have a good time with people that love photography as much as you do!

To do that best, we'll always have limited class sizes so we can devote more instruction to whoever needs it and to allow for free flowing discussion of the meetup topic.
