What we’re about
This group is not about glamorizing champagne problems...it's about sharing commiserating and laughing about being all things "mom" in this unique, booming, fast-paced area (over a glass of bubbly perhaps). I don't know about you, but do you ever pause and realize that we actually live in a pretty cushy "bubble"?
Sometime I pause and wonder, how did I get here? I LOVE where we live. Life is good. We have great weather, plenty of healthy food and grocery options, awesome + open minded people, variety of culture and a bunch of fun things nearby to do with the family.
However, the traffic...sucks.
Work is crazy busy.
It's so damn expensive out here.
Forget owning a home.
Never mind what I pay for rent.
I miss living closer to family.
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to live in a more simple area where we don't have to work so hard and pay so much. But we do what we do, and for the most part - it's worth it.
Then, there's all the other interesting topics...adoption, divorce, single parenting, co-parenting, the frightening path of schools, birthday parties, hormones, multi-cultural families, etc.
