Dinner Social at Copper Indian Restaurant in Dilworth

Known around these parts as the upscale Indian restaurant in Charlotte, (specifically in Dilworth), Copper offers a delightful and spicy menu of dishes that don’t sound like the traditional entrées you may be used to. Listen to the names of these items: “Disco” bhatura, tawa roasted scallops, chicken “ghee roast”, chicken mirchi-malai, lamb kozhambu… Also there is a selection of “modern “ entrées such as the seafood medley and kashmiri roasted lamb chops. According to the website, “Here… you will come to know Indian food in a new and extraordinary way. Without losing a single spice from the ancient Indian tradition.” The setting is quite lovely and charming, being housed in a “a turn-of-the-century bungalow” on East Blvd, which is also full of other beautiful historic-age buildings. There’s no doubt that you must make a stop here to see what Charlotte has to offer in terms of scrumptious Indian cuisine.
