🔑 What Does This Fee Support?
Your contribution will help us:
🍴 Explore even more amazing restaurants, including some “bougie”-er spots
🍴 Fees will help encourage participation…. Allowing us to have a more reliable count for each event. And allowing us to more likely have a more diverse group of attendees.
🏛️ We will have exclusive events in private rooms or venues with food/drink minimums (similar to the inaugural event held at Giovanna)
💳 We will be able to handle group bills smoothly when restaurants require one payment— If it makes it easier, I could cover it, and you can easily reimburse me for your portion
🎁 Stay tuned for other perks down the line!

🚨 A Quick Note on Group Etiquette & Policy
To keep things fair and enjoyable for everyone, I will be formally instituting a policy (that I have already been following) in which I will remove members, at my discretion, who consistently no-show or cancel late. We want to keep the group participation respectful and reliable for all.

Let’s keep the good food and great company coming. I can’t wait to see you at the next delicious event! 🍷🍜🍕🥂

First Brunch Social!... at Cajun Queen in Elizabeth
Cajun Queen, 1800 E 7th Street ,, Charlotte, NC, USJoin Monarch's List Dinner Social Club four our very first brunch event! This will occur at Cajun Queen in Elizabeth! What a way to welcome in the new year!!! See notes below for parking, etc.
From Google: The Cajun Queen in Charlotte offers a classic brunch with specialties like Shrimp & Grits, Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict, Bourbon French Toast (with bananas foster & andouille), Spicy Tasso Biscuit & Gravy, and Beignets, alongside omelets and brunch cocktails like Mimosas, with brunch typically running from 11 AM to 2 PM. You'll find traditional Cajun flavors blended with Southern brunch staples, served with sides like grits or home fries.
Popular Brunch Items –
- Shrimp & Grits: Blackened shrimp with creamy grits, Creole sauce, and andouille sausage.
- Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict: Crab cakes with hollandaise sauce.
- Bourbon French Toast: Bananas foster style with grilled andouille.
- Spicy Tasso Biscuit & Gravy: Topped with scrambled eggs.
- Omelets: Served with grits or home fries, with options like meat lovers or veggie.
- Beignets: Traditional powdered doughnuts with strawberry compote.
From my book: This is another one of those quaint Charlotte restaurants built in an old house, and this one hails from the year 1918. As the name reveals, this restaurant specializes in good ol’ Cajun fare straight out of N’awlins. This is a great choice if you are fond of Cajun cuisine. And the cute setting in a refurbished two-story old house is oh so cozy and welcoming.

Dinner Social at Fin & Fino in Uptown
Location not specified yetJoin Monarch's List Dinner Social Club for our next event at Fin & Fino in Uptown! See notes below for attire, parking, etc. The menu is here: Fin & Fino menu
They call themselves “a social seafood house”, but in real life, I don’t think it’s as casual as that sounds. This is a classy, polished seafood-based restaurant in Uptown with a deluxe patio. They feature a delightful menu consisting of small plates, entrées, and a raw bar. You can also try “The Treatment”, which takes you “on a tasting tour of the F&F menu” and donates $5 to charity. Small plates include tuna tartare, oysters, crab cakes, scallops, and their signature Furikake fries. Full-sized entrées are also tempting such as the trout and salmon, but you may also have non-sea items like lamb pasta, chicken cutlets, and filet mignon. There are several desserts as well. This is a fancy seafood house to bring your business partners or your high-brow friends and family.
Join us for a tasty evening of food and fellowship with your fellow members of the Monarch's List Dinner Social Club! Peruse the menu right here!: Fin & Fino menu
