About us
Welcome to our Open Source Virtualization Gathering in NRW! This is a place for everyone interested in open-source virtualization technologies – from KVM and Proxmox to XCP-ng and related platforms. We meet to exchange practical experiences, discuss real-world challenges, and share tips and tools that make daily work easier.
The format is simple: two to three short talks to kick things off, followed by open discussion and plenty of room for questions. Drinks during this first part are on us. Afterward, those who want can join us for food and more drinks at the Italian restaurant downstairs – at your own expense.
Whether you run clusters in production, tinker with homelabs, or just want to learn what’s possible with open virtualization – you’ll find like-minded people here. The gathering is informal, technical, and community-driven. Come by, bring your questions and ideas, and be part of building a local exchange around open-source virtualization!
