Monmouth County Film Club 📽️
The Vibe: No pretension, just a group for people who actually give a damn about cinema. We’re balancing the big screens with the "lost" ones.
Where we’re going:
• The Big Stuff: AMC (Eatontown/Freehold) & Cinemark Hazlet.
• The Indies: Basie Center Cinema, The Showroom (Asbury), and Smodcastle (Atlantic Highlands).
• The Deep Cuts: Unstreamable grindhouse and cult gems from my personal physical collection.
The Plan:
We’ll use polls to pick showtimes and titles. After the credits roll, we hit a local diner or bar to actually talk shop—what worked, what didn't, and what we’re watching next.
First Meet: Before we sit in a dark room together, let’s grab a booth at a diner or a drink at a bar for a quick "vibe check" and to map out our first few screenings. Meetings can also be held at the Ocean Township Library.
