Meet the Co-Founder of Authorea, a Publishing Platform Startup

A recent postdoc in astrophysics at Harvard, Alberto Pepe has transitioned from academia to entrepreneurship. Pepe is a founder of Authorea, an online collaborative writing tool for technical research where people can write and manage documents in one place, for free.
Researcher-turned-entrepreneur Pepe will illustrate how Authorea provides us with a platform for re-imagining the way that scholars can collaborate on and publish their research findings.
Event is presented by The Theresa and Lawrence R. Inserra Chair in Italian and Italian American Studies, Department of Spanish and Italian, in collaboration with the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship at Montclair State University.

Parking and directions: Park in Red Hawk Deck, exit the deck on the 5th level (north side of deck, near the soccer field). Walk up the path (soccer field will be on your left) straight ahead to new Feliciano School of Business building. Once you enter the building, take the staircase straight ahead to the first floor and you will see signs directing you to room 101, which is the first-floor auditorium.
