SAVE THE DATES! Monterey County Skeptics Leads the Way as usual by being the first SkeptiCamp of the year ... world-wide!

WE will BE offering TWO days of SkeptiCamp ... Saturday & Sunday! Plus a dinner social on Friday and events planned after Sat & Sun SkeptiCamp!

This is our annual weekend long event we put on for YOU, so please save this weekend as it will be great talks, socialization and renewing of friendships. We have a new location, the Seaside Coe Ave event served us well for years, but it was over $500 to rent for the day, they removed all the carpeting so it made it echo and difficult to hear the talks plus they were 45 minutes late showing up to open the building in 2025.

Our new location is the El Gabilan Library in North Salinas. We have used this location before in 2023 for small workshops and it served us well. There is ample parking, it is centrally located in Salinas, food is nearby, the venue is beautiful, staff friendly ... and who doesn't love a library?

This event is put on for the MCS community, please come out and support us. It is a free event, though we ask for donations to supplement the money required to put these events on, but no donations required to attend.

We will have a meet-the-speakers event on Friday night at a location allowing for mingling and food (we have met in the past at the London Bridge Pub in Monterey, but I have not finalized this yet.) and we will have some kind of event on Sunday afternoon I am waiting to hear from SVMHS for a tour of their medical history museum.
