The posthuman in the contemporary miniature painting tradition of India
Details
Janeita Singh will be speaking about the Indian miniature painting tradition of India and its enduring legacy and inspiration in times of hegemony, division, myopia, environmental crisis, and the relevance of community. It is interesting to note how the miniatures have evolved along a Jungian spiral, "upholding the idea of constant growth, of something that keeps unfolding and regenerating in ever-expanding circles."
She will be presenting art images in a slideshow, followed by a reading of text.
