Hello Poetry Enthusiast,
This group will be an occasional, casual gathering to share poems out loud with each other. They can be your poems that you would like to share with an audiance. They can be a poem that is your companion. One that is sticking by you, wanting your attention. Poetry in it's writing is meant to be voiced. Written to ring in our ears, as it finds it's way to our hearts. Each voice carries with it unique life experiences and therefore each spoken poem carries the difference of each individual. A beautiful thing. Just to be clear, this is NOT a writing/critiquing workshop. And if you are looking for a poem let me know and I can steer you toward one that may resonate with you. Let's share poems that bring us fully alive. We may meet in libraries, restaurants or even walking in Garland Ranch. Let's see what works best.
