Unique Winter Sunset Shoot: Keyhole Arch, Pfeiffer Beach.

Details
The Keyhole Rock and natural arch is a beautiful rock formation located at Pfeiffer Beach, Big Sur. Every winter there is a unique event where you can capture the sun setting through this natural arch. The plan is to photograph the beautiful keyhole arch during sunset and all the beauty Pfeiffer Beach has to offer.
The turn-off for Pfeiffer Beach is at Sycamore Canyon Road just half a mile south of the Big Sur Station and North of the Post Office on Highway 1. There is no street sign present. The turn-off is across the street from a large gravel turnout. Look for a big yellow sign that says "narrow road." The two-mile long narrow road winds down to the shore entrance station. Drive slowly as parts of this road go down to one lane.
This area is very busy and popular so the traffic is regulated at the top of the Sycamore Canyon road on the way down to the beach, therefore people may not get in. So plan on getting there at least 2 hours earlier to increase your chances of getting in. Sunset is at 4:51 pm.
We will shoot rain or shine.
