OUR CITIES MONTERÍA is a cultural and social community that brings people together through urban exploration, local experiences, cultural exchange, and meaningful human connections.

Whether you're from Montería, new to the city, visiting for a few days, or simply looking to expand your social circle, you're welcome here!

What do we do?

We organize a variety of activities designed to connect people with their city and with one another:

• 🌇 City Walks & Rooftop Experiences: Discover Montería from new perspectives, explore its urban history, enjoy beautiful viewpoints, and meet fellow participants.
• ☕ Meet & Drink: Relaxed social gatherings at cafés, rooftops, and other local venues where conversations and friendships can begin.
• 🎭 Culture & Local Experiences: Discover art, music, traditions, gastronomy, and cultural events.
• 🌍 International & Intercultural Exchange: Connect with people from different backgrounds, share languages and perspectives, and explore opportunities for cross-cultural collaboration.
• 📸 Urban Research & Storytelling: Explore the history, identity, architecture, and transformation of our cities through photography, research, documentation, and journalism.
• 🤝 Youth & Community Opportunities: Encourage participation, creativity, learning, and connections that can lead to future educational, cultural, and mobility initiatives.

Our first featured experience: Rooftops & Friends

Explore Montería through three viewpoints, learn about the city's past and present, and finish with our signature Meet & Drink gathering. Selected activities may require a paid reservation, while other community gatherings may be free.

Who can join?

Everyone interested in discovering Montería, sharing experiences, meeting people, and becoming part of an open and welcoming community. You don't need to know anyone beforehand—coming alone is absolutely fine!

OUR CITIES is a wider initiative with an existing presence in Miami, Manama, and Medellín, and a growing vision for intercultural exchange, research, journalism, urban mobility, and cooperation between cities.
