C2PA on the Road to IBC 2026!
Content authenticity is having a moment, AI-generated media, deepfakes, the growing question of "is this real?"
C2PA is the open standard trying to answer that: a cryptographically signed record of where a piece of media came from and whether it's been touched since.

That's the focus of our next Tech Meetup, ahead of IBC 2026: Qualabs and Unified Streaming sharing what we've actually been building on C2PA.

Our speakers:
Pablo Flores (VP of Engineering @ Qualabs) and Valentijn Siebrands
(@ Unified Streaming).

Valentijn Talk | "The Nutrition Label for Media: C2PA at the Packaging Stage"
In the AI era, knowing where content comes from and whether it can be trusted matters more than ever.
C2PA acts like a modern “nutrition label” for media, carrying verifiable information about its origin and history. With Unified Streaming, those Content Credentials can be added dynamically at the packaging stage, for live and VOD — late enough to reflect the final stream, but early enough to preserve transparency before delivery.

Pablo Talk | "C2PA for Live Media, Upstream
Signing and validation in c2pa-rs, the Common Media Library, and dash.js"
C2PA is an open, public spec, but the trip from reading it to running it across a real streaming pipeline is long - and for live, longer still. We made it and put the code where everyone can reach it: c2pa-rs, the SVTA Common Media Library, and dash.js. We'll show how to sign live video, how to validate it in the browser for live and VOD, and what's coming next.
