Primera Charla:
Titulo: Type-Safe Database Access with Prisma
Accessing a database from Node can be fairly straightforward. Making sure you are querying your database correctly is much harder. Prisma is a type-safe ORM for Node that can be used with TypeScript and JavaScript. It allows developers to define data models, run migrations, and access their databases all in a type-safe manner, greatly reducing the chances of making mistakes.
In this talk, we'll dive further into what Prisma is and how to get up and running with it quickly. You'll come away from the talk feeling confident about accessing your database with the type safety that Prisma provides.
Ryan is a full-stack developer working at Prisma in Developer Relations. He's a course author, teaching on subjects ranging from the basics of front end development to full-stack web security. He also hosts the Entrepreneurial Coder Podcast.
