What we’re about

Hi, Gorgeous!

We’re so glad you’re interested in our group! Our goal is to help women around their 30s (late 20s to early 40s will fit right in!) in the Montgomery County, PA, area create lasting friendships and meaningful connections. The group is open to everyone who embraces kindness and positivity, who is respectful of different personalities and backgrounds, and who is seeking to develop new, genuine, empowering relationships with peers. We hope you’ll feel comfortable telling us a little about yourself and asking us a little about ourselves, too, so we can really get to know each other. We enjoy trying new restaurants, community events, game nights, and really anything that strikes our fancy. We even have a book club! Keep an eye on our upcoming events, and come give us a try!

As you attend, please keep in mind the following rules for our meetup:

1. Honor Your RSVPs! And help us keep this group close by attending often.

We believe in quality over quantity, so we usually cap our membership at 50. But since we’ve been on a brief hiatus, we’re going to pause this rule while we work on getting back into the swing of things. Help us get back on track by following through with your commitments! We understand that conflicts do occasionally arise, but please make every effort to update your RSVP, message the event organizer, and anything else that might be appropriate for your cancellation. The more reliable you are, the more events, reservations, etc we can plan for everyone to enjoy!

As we work on getting back down to a membership cap of 50, please note that we take attendance at every event and remove anyone who no-shows without an explanation or who cancels frequently. We also remove folks who haven't participated/seen our page for an extended period. If you are unable to remain active in the group or decide this group isn’t for you, please vacate your spot so others can join and enjoy the fun.

2. Show your face clearly in your profile pic.

For your safety and ours, please ensure we can see your face clearly in your profile pic. Pictures that don’t show us who you are may lead to an organizer reaching out and, if not changed, removal from the group.

3. Attend an event in public before RSVPing to an event in a private home/a day trip.

Our trips (like a beach day in the summer) are often long and require extensive planning (carpools, dietary restrictions, etc.). And private homes can be very personal, as well as a safety concern when addresses are shared. We want to be sure everyone is comfortable with each other, so let’s meet in a public environment first! If you are new and RSVP to a longer or more private event, an organizer may reach out and ask you to hold off until we can meet you at a standard, public event first.

We appreciate your understanding of these rules, which should help us build a close, safe, and respectful community of gals just like you! We’re looking forward to meeting you at one of our upcoming events!

Ta!
