Starring Barbara Streisand, Nick Nolte, and Blythe Danner, The Prince of Tides centers on Tom Wingo, a disillusioned Southern football coach and teacher. He travels to New York City after his twin sister, Savannah, attempts suicide. He meets her psychiatrist, Dr. Susan Lowenstein, who needs his help understanding Savannah's troubled past. Through their therapeutic sessions, Tom and Dr. Lowenstein develop a connection and fall in love. However, their romance is complicated by Tom's existing marriage and his commitment to his family.

Based on the best-selling novel by Pat Conroy and nominated for seven Academy Awards.
