Wine Tasting Basics: Sip, Learn, Enjoy!

Let’s find out how to taste wine with 6 French classics – and also learn the basics of this fascinating drink.

We will sample 3 white and 3 reds from the most famous regions of France. As well as discovering how to analyse like a pro, we will hear about climate, terroir, fermentation, the label, food pairing etc – and I’ll answer any other questions you may have. There will be maps, diagrammes, history and loads of fun facts.

I have carefully chosen cheese and charcuterie to match the selections, and there’ll be enough that you won’t need to eat anything else.

I have worked in wine for many years, and hold the WSET level 3 award (I am currently studying for the highest-level diploma). Don’t worry, if there are any queries I can’t answer, I will make up something that sounds like it could be true.

The cost for the whole evening is 25€, which you can pay on the evening.
