Montréal regroupe plusieurs organisations travaillant sur la sûreté, l'éthique et la gouvernance de l'IA: Mila, LawZero, HΩ, PauseAI, IVADO, CAISI, OBVIA, ... Mais est-ce qu'on fonctionne comme communauté, ou est-ce qu'on est simplement co-localisés?
La soirée commence par un bref survol du paysage montréalais - qui fait quoi, où sont les ponts, où sont les trous - suivi de discussions structurées en groupes autour de trois questions :
- Qu'est-ce qui manque dans notre écosystème?
- Qui devrait se parler?
- Qu'est-ce qu'on fait concrètement dans les prochains mois?

Montréal is home to many organizations working on AI safety, ethics, and governance: Mila, LawZero, HΩ, PauseAI, IVADO, CAISI, OBVIA, ... But do we actually function as a community, or are we just co-located?
The evening opens with a brief overview of the Montréal landscape - who's doing what, where the bridges are, where the gaps are - followed by structured small-group discussions around three questions:
- What's missing in our ecosystem?
- Who should be talking to whom?
- What do we concretely do in the next few months?
