The search for camping people

We are a couple guys living in Montreal who want to start camping more often, and with other interesting people.
-Drinks and conversations around the campfire are to be expected
-Chess players welcomed! (as good if you're simply interested in playing)
-Music lovers of different kinds welcomed!
-Open to suggestions as well
-We can seperate and do our own things at times, nothing is required of you

All skill levels are welcome, as we ourselves aren't the most experienced at the things we are wanting to do: camping, canoeing, fishing, hiking, etc
We both have vehicles and would like to check out places well outside of Montreal
