Pixel Art Fundamentals - Gesture Drawing (Beginner Friendly!)

Requirements: Laptop with Aseprite (recommended) or Libresprite, or iPad with Pixsquare

https://github.com/LibreSprite/LibreSprite/releases/latest (Free and 90% identical to Aseprite. Download libresprite-development-[your OS].zip and extract. Open libresprite.exe from the folder)
https://www.pixquare.art/ (Paid, around $20, extended demo has all features but 2 canvases max)

For laptop users, it is highly recommended that you also bring a mouse or drawing tablet!

Summary:

This week, we'll be practicing gesture drawing to capture complex and interesting poses in low-pixel resolutions! We'll be using Line of Action's pose library to practice identifying the flow and lines of motion in dynamic poses in a series of quick practice sketches, and then translating them into pixel art characters.

Bring a full-body, front and back reference image of a humanoid character with large, identifiable features to practice your posing with!
