Drawing Fundamentals - Open Class

When: Saturday, August 16, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Where: Level 2, Room 2.130.1 at Grande Bibliothèque - BAnQ (Berri - UQAM Metro, with direct access to the Grande Bibliothèque)

Hey guys, Cesar here, I'll be hosting a 3 hr Art Session for those who would like to begin their journey into Drawing.

You will need to bring a pencil (B, 2B or 4B), an eraser, a sketchbook and a ruler. You can purchase these at Dollarama (5$ for a ringed, hard cover, black sketchbook!), but if you have the funds you can buy these materials at DeSerres.

- This will be an open session where the students can choose from different lessons: Line control, 2D shape construction, 3D geometric / organic shape construction, perspective, texturing, anatomy, shading, etc.

- The last 30 minutes will be dedicated to a "concept" art challenge

*NOTE: This course is beginner / intermediate friendly

Per the library's policy, the reserved room for this event can only be accessed when a minimum of 3 guests are present, so please be sure to arrive on time.
