Requirements: Laptop with Aseprite (recommended) or Libresprite, or iPad with Pixsquare

https://github.com/LibreSprite/LibreSprite/releases/latest (Free and 90% identical to Aseprite. Download libresprite-development-[your OS].zip and extract. Open libresprite.exe from the folder)
https://www.pixquare.art/ (Paid, around $20, extended demo has all features but 2 canvases max)

For laptop users, it is highly recommended that you also bring a mouse or drawing tablet!

Summary:

Pixel art classes are (kinda) back! Instructor Y will be back soon, so this week, we will be easing back into it with an "easy" topic: Web design!

Okay, I lied. Web design is hard. Professionals have spent years studying user behaviour to hand-craft the perfect interface to entice you to spend as much money as possible, and quite frankly, I'm not even that great at it.

But here's the thing: you don't have to be GREAT at it. Depending on what kind of website you are making, simple and effective web/graphic design can really make your website professional, memorable and eye-catching.

In this class we'll be learning about graphic design, how to create AND publish a free website using Carrd, and how professional Pixel Artists design their own portfolio/website!

I recommend creating a free Carrd account to familiarize yourself with the interface (yes you can even do so on the Ipad!). We will be watching this amazing crash course on Graphic design by Envato Tuts+. Feel free to do all of these beforehand but we will be going over them in class!
