Pixel Art Fundamentals - Animation Month (Beginner Friendly!)

IMPORTANT: The class will be held at room 2.130.1 so long as the metro is running! However, the class may be moved to the MGD Discord if service is interrupted.

Requirements: Laptop with Aseprite (recommended) or Libresprite, or iPad with Pixsquare

https://github.com/LibreSprite/LibreSprite/releases/latest (Free and 90% identical to Aseprite. Download libresprite-development-[your OS].zip and extract. Open libresprite.exe from the folder)
https://www.pixquare.art/ (Paid, around $20, extended demo has all features but 2 canvases max)

For laptop users, it is highly recommended that you also bring a mouse or drawing tablet!

Summary:

This month, we'll be learning how to animate a range of motions for any character or object. Pick a subject and draw it over and over every week, and you'll get better at understanding how to translate 3d movement into 2d art!

We'll be working on a different set of animations each week, so you can join in at any time. This week's theme is: movement!
