Summary:

Pixel art isn’t just for assets, but UI as well! This week, we’ll be designing menu assets that scale while still retaining their pixel-perfect look. We'll pick a genre of game together at the start of the class, and learn how to plan and make the elements in the UI set like boxes, buttons, sliders, and panels.

We'll cover best practices for sizing, color, contrast, readability, UX, text, and how to use slices and tilemap layers to create prototypes for rapid iteration.

Bring your own project for some hands on advice!

Take a look at our handy-dandy reference folder for a sneak peek of what you’ll be learning -> Google Drive
