Welcome to the Montreal Games Meetup -- where we play modern designer board and card games. Today in honour of Pi day we're focusing on games with math -- games like Power Grid, Arkwright, Math Fluxx, Hanabi, Incan Gold, Leaving Earth, and tons of others! As always, feel free to bring any game you want to play -- if you can recruit players, it'll get played!

Things you should know:

• There's a 2$ fee to play, waived on your first attendance. Read all about it at On fees and memberships (https://www.meetup.com/Montreal-Games-Meetup/pages/23349967/On_fees_and_memberships/).

• We welcome all gamers regardless of gender, race, game preferences or anything else... but read about our minimum age stance at Our Goal and Code of Conduct (https://www.meetup.com/Montreal-Games-Meetup/pages/23483185/Our_Goal_and_Code_of_Conduct/) (spoiler: all ages welcomed, but we bring games that are too difficult for kids and extremely hard to master for teens under 16).

• In particular, we don't discriminate on experience! Even if you've never played board games at all, you are welcome! Bring willingness to learn, we'll happily teach!

• Everyone on the organizing committee is bilingual and will happily teach a game in the language that's understood by most players.

• We enthusiastically encourage members to bring games from their collections to play at events. Feel free to suggest games from your collection if you feel comfortable teaching them -- even on your first time. If you can recruit the players, it will get played. However, no promises. The set of games played is decided live with the players available at that moment.

• We usually begin playing very soon after the arrival time. Some players will sometimes advertise availability earlier, entirely at their discretion. If you arrive late, you may be able to form a group with other latecomers, however, you will have a wider choice of games if you arrive on time.

• Bring a smile and a desire to learn (or even better, teach!) a board game or two.

• Above all else, make sure you and everyone else present is having fun gaming. That means winning and losing in good spirit, welcoming everyone and respecting the venue.
