We’re heading to Ottawa to kick off the Canadian Tulip Festival ! Our primary destination is Commissioners Park (Dow’s Lake), where the most impressive displays are located. Then will will head to Parc de la Gatineau where we will do a easy hike.

Activities:

  • The Tulip Trail: There’s a new immersive "Tulip Trail" experience starting this year that covers the history of the blooms—great for some walking and photos.
  • The Main Bloom: We'll walk the 1.2km stretch along the water to see the 300,000+ tulips.
  • Picnic : Lets find a cozy spot and eat, bring anything you like.
  • Carbide Willson Ruins and Falls : This pleasant and easy trail winds through thick forest, taking hikers along the shores of the pretty lake and then to the ruins of Carbide Wilson and small waterfalls.

IMP Note :
1) If you bring your own car , Please contact me via direct message, else it will be assumed that you will take a ride with me.
2) If you have your own car, let me know if you are willing to share the ride with others.
3) You are responsible for your safety and health. Please declare beforehand if you have any health condition.
4) Pay before the event to confirm your spot, else it will be assumed you are not interested in joining the event.
5) For people who bring their own car still have to pay organization fee which is 10$, if you offer ride you will be given a commission from the original price of the event.
6) I will get some Suncreen to share.

Fall Jacket
Rain coat/ Poncho/Umbrella
Spare shoes/slippers
Refund policy : if canceled by the organiser.

We meet up at Jarry metro at 8:00am , I have a car so can fill upto 3 spots :) The cost of the event includes the car ride. After the trip you will be dropped at Jarry/Jean Talon metro, we will aim to be back by 6pm if everything goes per plan. Be prepare to arrive a bit late as traffic cannot be predicted.
