Healing Circle
Details
What is Dr Joe Dispenza’s work about?
Dr. Joe Dispenza’s work sits at the intersection of neuroscience, meditation, mind-body medicine, and personal transformation. His core message is that your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs can literally rewire your brain and influence your biology, allowing you to change your life in measurable ways.
How does it compare to zen meditation?
While Zen meditation is empty, quiet, non-emotional, and non-directed, meditations from Dr Joe Dispenza are active, emotional, and often energizing. He uses strong positive emotions (elevated states) as a tool. He encourages enthusiasm, gratitude, love, and joy during practice through an inspiring music and an engaging tone of voice.
What does a group meditation look like? How does the session unfold?
This is a siting guided mediation. We gather in a form of circle. We sit up “straight” on chairs, close our eyes and listen to a recording and follow the instructions from Dr Joe Dispenza. The group is friendly and informal. This is a community that supports each other.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive between 3:45pm and 4pm. After settling in, we usually start at 4:15pm. We meditate for 1h to 1h30 min. Two tracks: the first track changes each week, followed by a 20 min coherence healing. After the meditation some of us usually share our experience. You are welcome to just listen if you prefer. We can chat until 6:30pm.
What is a coherence healing?
Contemporary research shows there is an invisible field of energy that creates matter. It makes sense, then, if you could change the field, you could change matter. This is the principle on which countless people in our community have healed themselves.
When a group of people come together with the intention of healing another – and they know how to get beyond themselves, connect to the quantum field, open their hearts, and demonstrate brain and heart coherence – we now know they can heal one another.
What is the Breath?
There is often a 6 min breath work in a track. By holding your consciousness in the sixth energy center (the pineal gland) while pulling breath upward from the base of the spine (the source of your creative life force), you’ll draw more energy to the brain, generating more coherent waves and profound levels of awareness.
