📸 Montreal Lens Collective: Griffintown Photo Walk
Details
Join us for a photo walk in Griffintown – Footsteps of the Past, and discover this dynamic Montreal neighborhood in a different light. Once an industrial hub, Griffintown is now a fascinating blend of old factories, modern condos, hidden street art, and riverside views.
Did you know that Griffintown was once home to bustling factories and Irish immigrant workers?
Did you know that today, remnants of its industrial history stand beside some of Montreal’s most cutting-edge architecture?
Let yourself be surprised by the stories behind every brick wall, mural, and canal reflection — and capture these fragments of history and transformation through your lens.
All levels of photographers and videographers are welcome. Whether you bring a camera, smartphone, or any gear you prefer, this walk is all about creating together.
We’ll end our walk at a cozy local café for a well-deserved break and a chance to share our shots.
