**Choose your Own (Production) Adventure, Moov AI**

Embark on a journey into the intricate landscape of managing machine learning models in a production environment. Join us for an interactive session reminiscent of the beloved Choose Your Own Adventure books from the 80s-90s. Together, we will navigate through the challenges of maintaining ML in production, making collective decisions when bugs arise, determining the crucial steps for service restoration, and facing the ultimate dilemma – should we deploy on a Friday?
 
**About Speaker**

**Etienne:**
Etienne is a curious person. It is as simple as that. Whether it be regarding data science, product development, cooking, or quirky hobbies (no one knows why he decided to learn Morse code a few years ago...!), his professional journey is a perfect example of that mindset: from physics to cyber security, to finally landing in AI. He started his career at Deloitte in cyber risk management and eventually switched to a Montreal-based, fast-growing startup: Moov AI. As the third employee, he helped Moov AI grow in many spheres, improving delivery project methodologies, participating in product development, leading R&D work for ML quality assessment techniques, and more recently, mentoring new talents. With over 50 employees, Moov AI is now a leader in applied AI projects. Our motto: let's make sure our work ends up in production!

**Find the right one, Solution BI**

Are you a B2B company? Do your salespeople spend a lot of time cold emailing or prospecting on LinkedIn? That's where the tool we've developed for this purpose comes in: find the best person in your company who's likely to get a response from a lead to contact. Utilizing a wealth of data from social networks and ML models in production in a cloud environment, we'll demonstrate how to develop such a tool. From data integration to application rendering, via graph database, model building, and monitoring, you'll see how we executed this end-to-end project!
 
**About Speakers**

**Cyprien:** 
As a passionate data scientist, Cyprien specializes in the application of artificial intelligence to solve complex business challenges is Cyprien's expertise. His proficiency lies in creating high-ROI solutions using innovative AI methods. Having started his career in Toulouse, France, he could only begin in aeronautics. He then transitioned into the banking sector, utilizing his data skills in marketing projects before becoming a team manager. Since June 2023, he has joined the Solution BI team, which now has over 100 consultants in North America, where he works as the head of the artificial intelligence department

**Julien:** 
Number crunching and coding? Sounds like a dream job for Julien! He knew data science was his calling, and his first adventure landed him in a Belgian aviation lab. Talk about cool projects! He used fancy NLP tricks to fight cyber threats and helped pilots stay on track with his flight trajectory predictions. But Julien, ever the curious explorer, craved more. He joined Solution BI Canada to become a data engineer, basically wrangling raw data and whipping it into shape for his data scientist buddies. This hands-on experience gave him a deep understanding of how data goes from messy beginnings to analysis-ready magic.
