Montreal Pagans is proud to be hosting a public ritual for the Pagan celebration of Litha!

The summer solstice is upon us, and the sun radiates above hotter and brighter than at any other point in the year! This is a time for consolidating all of our strengths and passions, and using them proudly to manifest and realize our vision! Apollo takes center stage, and through his luminosity we are encouraged to make music, to dance, and to spread our joy!

-The ritual will be bilingual and open to all regardless of religion, age, orientation, or level of experience with Paganism/spirituality. You are welcome to come alone or to bring friends with you!

-We will meet outside the doors of the Angrignon metro station at 4:45. People will have a half hour window to arrive, and at 5:15 we will lead the group to our spot in the park where the ritual will be held.

-We would encourage you to wear bright colors (yellow, orange, red, or white especially).

-There will be a musical component to this ritual - if you have any drums or percussive instruments, feel free to bring them to play along!

-The cost to attend the ritual is $5 so that we may cover the cost of materials we will use.

-The ritual will conclude with a potluck, so feel free to bring food to share with your fellow guests!

-Please bring your own drinking cup, a pen and paper, and anything you'd like to put on the altar as a decoration if you so choose. Please make sure to take it home with you after!

Païens de Montréal est fier d'organiser un rituel public pour la célébration païenne de Litha !

Le solstice d'été approche et le soleil brille plus fort qu'à tout autre moment de l'année ! C'est le moment de consolider toutes nos forces et nos passions, et de les utiliser fièrement pour manifester et réaliser notre vision ! Apollon occupe le devant de la scène et, grâce à sa luminosité, nous sommes encouragés à faire de la musique, à danser et à répandre notre joie !

• Le rituel sera bilingue et ouvert à tous, sans distinction de religion, d'âge, d'orientation ou de niveau d'expérience avec le paganisme et la spiritualité. Vous êtes invités à venir seul ou accompagné !

• Nous nous retrouverons devant la station de métro Angrignon à 16 h 45. Vous avez une demi-heure pour arriver, et à 17 h 15, nous conduirons le groupe à notre emplacement dans le parc où se déroulera le rituel.

• Nous vous encourageons à porter des couleurs vives (jaune, orange, rouge ou blanc, en particulier).

Ce rituel comportera une partie musicale - si vous possédez des tambours ou des instruments de percussion, n'hésitez pas à les apporter pour jouer !

Le coût de la participation au rituel est de 5 $, ce qui nous permettra de couvrir le coût du matériel.

Le rituel se terminera par un repas-partage, alors n'hésitez pas à apporter de la nourriture à partager avec vos invités !

Veuillez apporter votre propre verre, un stylo et du papier, et tout ce que vous souhaitez décorer sur l'autel si vous le souhaitez. N'oubliez pas de le rapporter chez vous après le rituel !
