MonSFFA March Meeting - The Alien Franchise + Sci-Fi Presentations

Join us for MonSFFA’s March meeting!

• The Montreal Science Fiction and Fantasy Association (MonSFFA) has been bringing together fans of science fiction and fantasy for over 40 years. Our monthly meetings feature presentations, discussion, and community conversation exploring books, films, world-building, genre history, visual effects, and speculative storytelling.

• Featured Presentation: The Alien Franchise
  A presentation exploring the themes, evolution, and cultural impact of the Alien series in science fiction cinema.

• In addition to this talk, the afternoon will include other member presentations and open discussion related to science fiction and fantasy. Final programming may be adjusted prior to the meeting.

• Location: Le Nouvel Hotel, 1740 René-Lévesque Blvd West (corner St-Mathieu), Downtown Montreal. We typically meet in the “Faubourg” conference room. If the room changes, updated details will be provided prior to the meeting, and hotel staff can assist upon arrival.

• Remote Attendance: A Zoom link is often made available for those wishing to attend remotely. Please message us after RSVPing for details.

• There is no entry fee to attend. If you enjoy the event and would like to help support venue costs and the ongoing activities of the group, voluntary donations are warmly appreciated (cash is simplest at the meeting). Annual memberships are also available for those who wish to become more involved.

• Important Note: Meetup RSVPs are limited by the platform. If the event appears full, you are still welcome to attend in person — feel free to message us for confirmation. First-time visitors are welcome.
