LATEST UPDATE ON THE EMAIL TENNIS LIST
Good Evening:
We expect the Courts will be ready very shortly at our regular location near the Jacque Lemaire hockey arena adjacent to the Lasalle hospital. I have confirmed we will have Monday - Wednesday & Friday evening 7pm coordinators , once those courts are made available. I will send out shortly a email giving the cell numbers of those evening coordinators. If you want to participate on any of those evenings, you must send a text to that coordinator before 5pm of that day! We would also appreciate anyone volunteering their support to any of those evening coordinators!
The day Tennis will remain the same : Tuesdays & Thursdays mornings at 09:30am and on Sunday's at 12:30pm - no text required , just show up. Note; We are a social tennis group of all levels, there is no cost and its drop-in tennis, participate at your convenience. So, just for the next short while , the day tennis events will continue at Mohawk Park in Lasalle. Again Thanks for your patience!
We have a lot of people , new to tennis, joining us this season, and they are very welcome! Please see attached a ' How to Score ' sheet! Very important that our new players learn this , as in tennis , the server must always announce the score before serving - this keeps the game flowing - as well for the new players, practice hitting tennis balls off a wall in your area, to develop your eye to hand coordination. Extremely helpful to develop your game.

Please Note: For Tuesday and Thursday Mornings at 09:30 am , and Sundays at 12:30pm , weather permitting , the tennis matches - (temporarily ) will be held at the following location in Lasalle.
Mohawk park in Lasalle H8R 3N6 using Lasalle Blud. Travelling either east or west on Lasalle blud , beside the river, you will pass under or near the Mercier bridge. At the Mercier rail bridge you will turn onto Highlands ave. Drive straight down Highlands ave until you get to Dalmany. The courts are located to your right through the gate. If its raining - stay home. Too dangerous to play on wet courts!
