Get fit, have fun, make friends, and afterwards enjoy some bites with this energetic barre class! Barre is a low-impact, full body workout designed to burn your muscles for effective toning & strengthening, all while moving to fun music. No dance or prior experience required but be ready to move!
The class will be from 8PM-9PM, and afterwards we will head to Mae Sri Comptoir Thai for some small plates (or large plates, we don't judge ;). Joining for bites is optional, you can choose to just come to the class.
What should I expect from a Barre class?
Barre is accessible to all, but it is a workout! Expect a fusion of Pilates, yoga, and ballet movements. We will work the entire body from head to toe, targeting all muscle groups and working them to the fullest. We will also use light weights (optional) and Pilates props. Props will be supplied.
What should I bring?
Comfy clothes you can move easily in, a small towel if you tend to sweat, water, a positive attitude, and good energy! :)
How much does it cost/how to pay?
$15 if you are coming alone, plus whatever you purchase at the restaurant. If you bring a friend, the price for two is $20, so $10 each. Also, when you come to 4 of my classes, your 5th class is always free. :)

Some Courtesy Notes:
- If you are unable to make class, please update your RSVP at least 24 hours before for a full refund. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice can use their payment towards a future class.
- In the event of a waitlist, I will ask for pre-payment via etransfer to confirm your spot.
- Please try to arrive to class 5-10 minutes before we start to be on time and settle in
- If you are taking advantage of the bring a friend deal ($20 for 2 people), please make sure to indicate this when you RSVP

About your instructor:
My name is Lisa, I have been teaching yoga and leading community classes on Meetup for the last two years. I am a holistic fitness instructor, teaching a combination of disciplines that integrate the breath and body including yoga, Pilates, barre, and resistance training. I am also a Reiki master healer. Outside of these practices, I love dance, art, travel, Latin music, and meeting new people and making new friends. My goal is to help you find joy in movement, and peace in your mind.
