SPREADING THE NEWS BY LADY GREGORY (1904)

Spreading the News is Lady Gregory's short play (30 minutes) about how misinformation spreads quickly about a proclaimed local murder. Roles for characters listed below will be assigned at the event. We will read the whole short play. The group will then take 15 minutes to free write, respond to the play, sketch a plot, explore a character, or write your own 10 minute play.
